Lauren's Morning Tonic Recipe

 

Begin the day with intention, stillness, gratitude & internal nourishment. 

Mornings are inherently busy. We have things to do, places to go, people to see. Creating space for yourself in the morning, creates space for yourself throughout the entire day ahead. 

Identify a mug or cup that holds sentimental value, or is your favourite to hold / look at. 
Make this your morning mug.

This tonic is both beautifying, anti-aging and energising whilst offering grounding, protection and healing. 

You’ll need..

  • Your morning mug 

  • A blender / Vitamix / NutriBullet 

  • 150ml of hot water 

  • 100ml of cold almond milk 

  • 1/2 teaspoon of Holy Mountain’s Magik Mushrooms 

  • 1/2 teaspoon of Holy Mountain’s Universal Glow 

  • 1 teaspoon of coconut butter 

  • 1 pinch of ground cinnamon 

  • 2 teaspoons of collagen powder 

  • 1 teaspoon of organic honey 


Method.. 

  1. Light some Palo Santo in your kitchen / meal preparation area, and clear the energy of the space. 

  2. Take out all your ingredients and place them in front of you on a clear bench top. 

  3. Notice each ingredient, acknowledge its source, where its come from, and appreciate that it is here with you, now. 

  4. Have your morning mug near by, ready to fill it with nourishment and intentional ingredients. 

  5. In your blender, measure out & place in, all ingredients; Magik Mushrooms, Universal Glow, coconut butter, cinnamon, collagen powder, organic honey. 

  6. Pour in the 150ml of hot water & 100ml of almond milk. 

  7. Blend / blitz for 30 seconds, this will give you a really frothy consistency. 

  8. Pour the tonic into your morning mug.

  9. Enjoy & consciously consume sitting down, standing up - whatever the moment/day calls for!
