First thing you did this morning? Every morning my daughter gets her bunny up from its hutch and comes into my room to wake me up. She lays next to me with her bunny on her chest and we pat her and talk and wake up slowly. My son soon follows with his bunny on my husband's side of the bed and after a little while I get up and make them breakfast and start the day.
What does 'well-being' mean to you? Well-being to me means a feeling of lightness and harmony in body and mind. It’s about taking a more expansive and intuitive view of yourself and your life.
Currently reading? I’ve just finished reading ‘Leave the World Behind’ by Rummaan Alam and about to start Joan Didion’s ‘Let Me Tell You What I Mean’
Currently browsing (.com)? Architectural websites as we’re starting the planning processes of a renovation.
A resource / piece of writing you'd like to share with us? I came across this quote today “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.” — Albert Einstein
Three items in your wallet / bag? phone, keys, natural hand sanitizer
Most commonly used apps on your phone? Camera, Gmail, Messages, Instagram and MindValley (I’ve been doing a course about Energy called Duality by Jeffrey Allen which I’m really enjoying.)
Products found in your shower/by your bath? Rasasara Skin Care and Aveda Hair Care, Sans hand soap, Espson bath salts and Celtic Sea salt.
Three things that can always be found in your kitchen cupboard? Lemons, celery and wild blueberries.
Favourite kitchen utensil? Cold Press Juicer and Vitamix
Favourite travel destination? Milos in the Greek Islands
Favourite form of movement/exercise? Walking, Kundalini Yoga, pilates
Nighttime rituals & practices? Lately after I put my kids to bed, I meditate while my husband practices learning Greek, then we come together to watch something and talk. I also make a pot of tea to share, I grate fresh ginger and a few loose leaf tea like nettle leaf, rose hips, red clover, lemon balm or licorice root, and add thyme and fennel seeds and then add a teaspoon of raw honey to each cup after I’ve poured it.
One thing you'd like to incorporate into your day/week that you're currently yet to? A few months ago I was doing Kundalini yoga every day. I'd really like to get back to moving my body every day whether it’s yoga, pilates or a big walk.
Someone you look up to? Anyone who is walking through life with optimism, kindness and confidence and working to make the world a better place.
Something you're proud of? My children
I feel most creatively fulfilled when... I’m in the creative flow, when I see connections between things and inspiration that I’m drawn to and can combine ideas through a creative process and outcome.
I'm currently working on...getting things ready to take to Sydney for Australian Fashion Week next week, designing my next collection, organising the photoshoot for the last collection.
This time last year, I wish I knew... There would be more time at home, it was funny because it was something that I had actually been craving.
I'm grateful for... the beauty in the world, family, friendships and my work.
