One thing you'd like to incorporate into your day/week that you're currently yet to? Scheduling more moments for self reflection. Checking in and asking how I'm doing (physically emotionally mentally) and readjusting from there. I have a tendency to press play and just keep going.

Nighttime rituals? Honestly, I'm more of a morning ritual person. Maybe it's because I'm kind of a night owl.  I like to start my day at a slower pace in order to feel fully prepared for the day ahead. Sometimes that means not starting my work-day until mid-morning. I find I’m much more productive in the latter parts of the day, so taking it easy in the morning helps ensure I'm finding time to just...be. In the evenings I'll take a dinner break with my husband and then work a few hours longer before watching a little something on tv to switch gears before bed.  If I'm having a particularly hard time winding down, I'll listen to a meditation on the Calm app. I was recently gifted a book called "Calm the Chaos" which has am/pm journal prompts and I'm looking forward to using that to help unwind as well.

I feel most creatively fulfilled when... I can take my time. When I'm in my studio and can research, play, experiment and develop something until it feels perfect.

I'm currently working on...  making the products I wish existed // being more gentle with myself // accepting myself just as I am in each moment, and clearing out an email backlog.

This time last year, I wish I knew... that it would be my last year with my father. Losing him looked nothing like I thought it would. Fortunately, I feel resolved about our relationship, but I do wish I had known to check in with him to sort out some practical matters in relation to his final phase of life. And I've been trying not to fixate on this, but I also wish we'd known to begin hospice care with him well before we did - I think he would have lived longer and his final weeks would have been more peaceful.

I'm grateful for... my partner, my cat, my studio, my brand, my dearly supportive friends, my safety, my health.
