First thing you did this morning?
Aside from getting out of bed, school lunches! It’s like a fire drill in my home every morning, so the focus is on packed lunches, brushing teeth and getting out the door.

What does 'wellness' mean to you?
Wellness is a state of mind. It should be pleasurable, both in process and result. It starts with really simple things for me… having time out with a cook book, a bath on a winters night. It is usually solitary time that's restorative because it’s something I very rarely get to do.

Products found in your shower/by your bath?
Sans [ceuticals] Goji Cleansing Oil. I wash my hair once a week with Sans Nourishing Hair Wash & Ultra+. I mix Activator 7 Oil with Synergie Super Serum C for my face. Mascara, that I apply in the car. And sometimes I use RMS Un-Coverup, which is made primarily of pigment and coconut oil.

Three things that can always be found in your kitchen cupboard?
Fresh turmeric, homemade kasundi and wine!

Favourite kitchen utensil?
My 20 yr old cast iron pan. It has 20 yrs of seasoning and care that makes it the best non-stick pan and makes everything taste so great.

Favourite Travel destination?
Vanuatu. We hire a little treehouse on the northern island E’Spirito, and spend a few days sleeping, swimming and enjoying a few afternoon drinks on the beach.

Currently reading?
Spreadsheets, Gourmet Traveller or when I’m lucky, anything by Michael Pollen or Lawrence Durell.

Favourite breakfast food?
I like to make a green juice of cucumber, green apple, spinach, ginger and lemon. Following that, poached eggs on seed bread with my homemade kasundi.

Three items in your make up bag?
Lip Aid, Activator 7 Oil, and RMS cream blusher.

An album/mix that calms your nervous system?
Nick Drake or Jim Sullivan

An album/mix that hypes you up?
Anything from the Staple Sisters to Michael Jackson, Off the Wall.

Favourite form of movement/exercise?
I used to do yoga 2-3 times a week and felt great. If I’m honest, now I struggle to fit it in but I don't feel guilty about it as I know I will get there again. I have to say I’m not mad on exercise but I love yoga and walking because it helps turn down the volume from my working day, be more present and gives me mental clarity and space.

Night-time rituals?
I don't work at night once the kids go to bed like I used to, only if I have a huge deadline. Getting outdoors with the kids really helps me to disconnect and I find I sleep better because of it. Failing that, I’ll cook dinner, followed by a glass of red wine, some dark chocolate and Netflix.

I feel most creatively fulfilled when...
I’m rested and have nothing pressing or urgent to attend to. I love to go for a walk and just wander, with no specific direction, soaking up my surrounds.

I'm currently working on...
We are working on a concise collection of skincare products for the face called the Superdose Collection. I was chatting to a dermatologist recently who said he sees a lot of inflammation and skin sensitivity from overly-complicated skincare regimes. After working in the beauty industry for over twenty years, I have been frustrated that most cosmeceutical skincare requires purchasing multiple creams and serums to be effective. We are working on a more simplified yet targeted approach, combining key actives such as A,B,C & E in one formulation to really deliver results.

I'm grateful for...
I feel very blessed to be surrounded with incredible female friends. Women who are incredibly generous, smart, supportive and non-judgmental. These qualities make them exceptional mothers, business womenand friends and an inspiration to me every day…
