If you’re not yet aquatinted with Ceremony, we’re delighted to introduce you. Ceremony is a collection of rings for marking new traditions.

Classic yet distinct in design; refined and self-aware; Ceremony offers a modern edit of rings for treasuring, signifying, and commemorating love of all kinds.

To further their exploration of rituals, connection and love, Ceremony have recently introduced a Signature Tea Blend to their community offering.

Historically, tea ceremonies have been regarded as a sacred metaphor for deliberate pause: A moment of consciousness, awareness, oneness. Their Signature Tea Blend is designed to accompany such occasions of simple ritual, connection, and time spent together.

“Teaism is a cult founded on the adoration of the beautiful among the sordid facts of everyday existence. It inculcates purity and harmony, the mystery of mutual charity, the romanticism of the social order. It is essentially a worship of the Imperfect, as it is a tender attempt to accomplish something possible in this impossible thing we know as life.”

― Kakuzo Okakura, The Book of Tea

We sat down with Ceremony to learn more about the making of their Signature Tea Blend and how we can best serve..

What inspired the making of Ceremony's Signature Tea Blend?

The tea ceremony has historically been regarded as a sacred metaphor for deliberate pause. It's about coming together consciously. We created the Signature Tea Blend (a bergamot Earl Grey) as a way to speak to the spirit of simple ritual, communion, and time spent together. Alongside the evolving conversation we're engaging about what love looks like, how it is expressed, and ultimately shared, we wanted to create a tangible prompt – a cup of tea – to offer more space for real-time connection (with yourself or another).

How should we best serve?

We recommend infusing one tablespoon of tea leaves in 10 ounces of boiling water for four to five minutes. It is still warm enough here in LA to prepare the tea chilled. At our studio, we've been adding sliced lemon and a dash of rose water (a new favourite addition!) to elevate the floral notes in the blend.

If the tea was an album, which would it be?

The blend is really versatile — soft yet still subtly effervescent. The citrus + floral notes of bergamot, jasmine, and rose situate it somewhere in the indie pop universe. Maybe HAIM, or Lykke Li circa "Youth Novels."

Ceremony's essence in three words?

You define love.
