Today, we bring you greater insight into the morning rituals and routines of our very own, Lauren Trend.
Describe your sleeping space.
Our bedroom is kept pretty minimal. We have neutral linen sheets, a burl and class side table and a few candles atop an oak dresser.
What time do you wake up?
At the moment, thanks to a very active bub in my tummy, I’m waking up quite early - typically around 6:30, but will lay in bed until 7:30 ish before I get up.
The first thing you do upon waking?
Chat to Lucy, cuddle our pets, drink a big glass of water.
What do you need to get a good night's sleep?
I’m lucky enough to be one of those people that can fall asleep very easily, so it doesn’t take much, at all.
Your AM Skincare / Self Care Routine?
In the morning I just wash my face with cold water, apply a few drops of LESSE Ritual Serum, an SPF and I’m ready to go.
Morning beverages you can’t go without?
I like to begin the day by drinking a cup of tea and lots of water.
A typical breakfast might look like?
Porridge, or seed toast with avocado or peanut butter.
On an average day you’ll…
Check my emails first thing.
On a more productive day you’ll…
Go on a big walk with Lucy and the dogs before doing any work.
When you’re exhausted, you’ll…
Lay down on the couch and watch a TV series or read a book.
You start work around what time?
Around 8:30 - 9 am.
What’s on your morning to-do list on an average day?
Emails, making the bed, vacuuming the house, emptying the dishwasher.
