First thing you did this morning? Rolled out of bed at 2:30am pulled on some clothes and hopped in the van to go to market.
What does 'wellness' mean to you? I'm going to be 100% honest with you. I still don't know what wellness is to me or how to achieve it. I really struggle to take time to care for myself. Starting my own business and working the hours I work has put my body and headspace through the wringer. It's something I'm always striving for but never seem to be able to commit to as I always fall back into bad habits. But I think a lot of people battle with this.
Products found in your shower/by your bath? Aesop Parsley Seed Facial Cleansing Oil, Kapha body exfoliating paste, Dr. Bronner's Hemp Earl Grey Soap.
Three things that can always be found in your kitchen cupboard? A good range of pickles (onions, chili, sauerkraut), sweet potatoes and tea.
Favourite kitchen utensil? A good Japanese knife.
Currently reading? Wish I could say I read but I always fall asleep after 2 sentences.
Currently browsing (.com)? Xero accounting system lol.
Favourite breakfast food? Vegemite toast.
An album/mix that calms your nervous system? When I'm stressed I listen to ABC Melbourne 774 radio. Super daggy but it calms me as it reminds me of being a child in the car with my parents.
An album/mix that hypes you up? Beyonce
Most commonly used apps on your phone? Instagram, Gmail, Google Maps, iIternet banking, iTunes.
Favourite form of movement/exercise? I wish I could say that I exercised but I don't. I enjoy getting out of town and going for a nice long walk on the beach or in the bush though.
One thing you'd like to incorporate into your day/week that you're currently yet to? I am starting clinical Pilates next week to help with my lower back issues.
Nighttime rituals? A good hot shower and a snuggle with my loved one.
I feel most creatively fulfilled when... I always need to be working on something that is my own. A project that has no monetary value attached. It's just my ideas and how I want them executed I like having full control of my creative practice.
I'm currently working on... Being more in tune with my needs instead of pushing things to the side and using the excuse that I'm too busy to prioritise myself.
This time last year, I wish I knew... Trust your gut.
I'm grateful for... Finding a job I truly love. The creative freedom my clients give me. My family and friends. And finding someone who I really care for and who cares for me.
