Sans [ceuticals] Launches Luminosity Masque

Introducing the Sans [ceuticals] Superdose Luminosity Masque; the first in a concise collection of multifunctional products for the face by the pioneering New Zealand based clean beauty brand.

Healthy, even, glowing skin is the ‘ne plus ultra’ of skincare. But modern beauty products often over-complicate the path to getting it, says Lucy Vincent, founder of Sans [ceuticals]. “With the increase in 10-step regimens and single-ingredient products, dermatologists are increasingly warning that people are doing too much to their skin, and potentially causing more problems than they’re solving.”

Instead, she says, just a few well-calibrated serums containing proven potent actives – formulated to avoid sensitising skin or disrupting its crucial barrier function – can replace a whole (expensive) cabinet full of products. “Great skin doesn’t need to be complicated – in fact, it shouldn’t be,” she says.

The Superdose Luminosity Masque is the first release in the Superdose collection, as it lays the foundation for great skin. “Increasing cell turnover through regular, gentle exfoliation kick- starts that healthy glow, and prepares skin to get the best from products applied afterwards.”

HOW TO USE

Dispense 1 dropper of masque onto fingertips and smooth over clean, damp skin. As the masque contains active ingredients, a slight tingling may be experienced, which should fade within moments. Leave on for up to 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Follow with your moisturiser of choice.

Like all Sans [ceuticals] products, the Superdose Luminosity Masque is multifunctional. As well as a weekly exfoliating and renewal treatment for the face, it can be used weekly to treat keratosis pilaris (dry, ‘goosebump’ skin usually found underneath the upper arms, thighs and buttocks) and patches of eczema on the body. Regular gentle exfoliation of these conditions to increase cell turnover followed by moisturising (such as with Sans [ceuticals] Cellular Repair Lotion or Activator 7 Oil) helps restore skin barrier function and heal the condition.
